Exciting opportunity with the British Museum for young people
The British Museum’s Supplementary Schools Steering Group are on the lookout for 2 young people with an interest in Museums to help them advise on the development of a series of high profile community events in 2013/14 inspired by the Museum’s collections and to act as spokespeople for the Supplementary Schools Programme.
Are you aged between 16-25 years and attending or volunteering at a Supplementary School in London?
Successful candidates will join a team of Museum professionals and supplementary school teachers and make key decisions on the future of the Supplementary Schools Programme from the content of Activity Weekends to teacher training. Their role will also be to specifically support the British Museum to design events and activities that appeal to young people attending supplementary schools in London.
